Abstract: We report a case of gonococcal urethritis complicated by paraurethritis. A 20-year-old male presented with purulent discharge from the urethra and paraurethral glands, along with symptoms of urethral irritation for 3 days. The combination of swab culture of pus secretion with gonococcal PCR confirmed the diagnosis of gonococcal parurethritis. The patient was treated with cefixime twice a day, resulting in the alleviation of symptoms within one week. Two weeks after the completion of treatment, a negative result was obtained from the gonococcal PCR.
