Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of furosemide and digoxin mixed cream in the treatment of cutaneous warts after CO2 fractional laser pretreatment. Methods: Patients with cutaneous warts who attended our hospital from March 2024 to October 2024 were enrolled. The patients were randomly divided into a cryotherapy group and an experimental group. All patients received CO2 fractional laser pretreatment, then the control group was given cryotherapy, and the experimental group was treated with topical furosemide and digoxin mixed cream. Both treatment and follow-up lasted for 8 weeks. The diameter of lesions, lesion clearance rate and adverse reactions were evaluated. Results: Among 30 patients with cutaneous warts, 27 completed the study, including 15 cases in the cryotherapy group (41 warts) and 12 cases in the experimental group (43 warts). The complete clearance rate of warts in the experimental group was 39.5%, which was significantly higher than 26.8% in the cryotherapy group (P<0.05). Under dermoscopy, 21 warts (48.8%) disappeared in the experimental group and 11 warts (26.8%) disappeared in the cryotherapy group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). In the cryotherapy group, 13 cases (86.7%) had pain and 11 cases (73.3%) had burning sensation, while only 1 case (8.3%) in the experimental group had each of the above reactions. There was a significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions (P<0.05). Conclusions: Topical application of furosemide and digoxin mixed cream combined with CO2 fractional laser is effective in the treatment of cutaneous warts with a low incidence of adverse reactions, which is superior to traditional cryotherapy.
