Abstract: Objective: To detect the level of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Treg cells and interleulin-10 (IL-10) in the peripheral blood from the cured patients with leprosy in order to explore the mimmune status of them. Methods: The levels of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Treg in T lymphocyte subgroups and IL-10 in peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometry and ELISA respectilvely in 25 cured patients with leprosy and 20 healthy controls. Results: The level  CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Treg in T lymphocytes and the level of IL-10 in the patients were (7.45±1.43)% and (13.45±3.61) pg/mL, which were higher than those in controls (5.89±1.21)% and (9.23±1.51) pg/mL, with significant differences (P<0.01). There was a significant positive correlation between  CD4+CD25+Treg cells and IL-10 in the cured patients and healthy controls. Conclusion: The level of CD4+CD25+Foxp3+Treg cells and IL-10 in blood serum in the cured patients with leprosy were higher than those in healthy controls, which indicated the cured patients with leprosy may have Immune imbalance.
