Abstract: The cutaneous lesions of herpes zoster (HZ) are typically limited to a single dermatome, while non-contiguous HZ involving two or more dermatomes is rare. We report 2 cases of atypical disseminated HZ patients and review related literature. A 77-year-old male presented with clustered papules and blisters on the right hip and spread all over the body for 2 days. Through the antivirotic drug, neurotrophic drug and symptomatic treatment, the lesions improved but neuralgia retained. The second patient, 32-year-old female, presented with clustered papules and blisters on the chest and back for 4 days and spread all over the body for 1 day. The patient treated with topical calamine lotion alone because of lactation and the patient self-healed after 2 weeks.
