Clinicopathologic features of 3 cases with blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm

Abstract: The clinicopathological characteristics of three cases (1 male and 2 females) of blastic plasmacytoid dendritic neoplasm(BPDCN) in Wuhan Union Hospital from January 2014 to January 2019 were analyzed retrospectively and the related literature were reviewed. The skin manifestation was the first symptom in the three patients, such as papules, nodules, patches. The biopsy showed that the diffusely infiltrated intermediate-sized cells in the dermis and subcutaneous adipose tissue. Mitoses were seen, but no tumor cell presented in epidermis. Immunohistochemistry stain showed positive CD4,CD56 and CD123.
