Nodular cutaneous amyloidosis: a case report

Abstract: A 46-year-old male presented with nodules on the left nasolabial sulcus, nose wing and chin for one year. Histopathological examination showed varying size acidophilic and amorphous materials deposited in dermis. Congo red and methyl violet staining were positive. The diagnosis of nodular cutaneous amyloidosis was made. The nodules were shrinked after the treatment of intralesional compound betamethasone injection.
