Clinical analysis of nail changes in the patients with hand-foot-mouth disease

Abstract: The nail changes in 480 children with hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) was analyzed in our hospital. All children were followed up for half a year and the lesions and damaged nails were recorded. Of 480 HFMD patients, 58 patients had 445 damaged nails, including 261 fingernails and 184 toenails. 445 damaged nails included 397 onychomadesis, 25 Mee's lines and 23 Beau's lines.
