Reticular ecchymosis on left chest wall and double lower limbs after tracheal extubation of bullae resection: a case report

Abstract: Reticular ecchymosis is a kind of local blood circulation maladjustment of skin. We reported a case with reticular ecchymosis after extubation of trachea. A 66-year-old male presented with blue purple reticular changes in the skin after extubation of bullae surgery. The diagnosis of reticular ecchymosis was made. The symptoms of reticular ecchymosis disappeared after active treatment of primary causes and glucocorticoid treatment.
