Bullous Sweet's syndrome complicated with Crohn's disease:a case report

Abstract: A 65-year-old man presented with diarrhea for one month and erythema, bullae, and blood bullae all over the body associated with fever for 5 days. The skin biopsy of erythematous plaque revealed epidermal hyperkeratosis, subepidermal blister, edema of dermal papilla, infiltration of neutrophilic granulocyte. Histopathology features of the colon was consistent with Crohn's disease. The diagnosis of bullous Sweet's syndrome complicated with Crohn's disease was made. The patient was treated with methylprednisolone 40mg, once a day and the lesions subsided gradually.
