Erythema gyratum repens: a case report

Abstract: A 47-year-old female presented with systemic annular erythema and lower limb pain for 4 days. Physical examination showed lesions consist of slightly elevated erythema on the limbs and trunk, with ring pigmentation. Histologic examination showed the reticular blue keratosis, a large number of red blood cells overflowed around the vascular appendages in the superficial dermis, a moderate amount of neutrophils infiltrated, nuclear dust was visible, and vascular cellulose like necrosis was visible in some vascular walls. The diagnosis of erythema gyratum repens was made.
