Atypical fibroxanthoma of the root of the nose: a case report

Abstract: A 51-year-old female presented with subcutaneous mass on the base of the nose for 10 years and enlarged for 1 year without any symptoms. The pathology showed (nose) spindle cell tumor, some tumor cells obvious atypia and pleomorphism. Immunohistochemical showed CD34(-), CK-pan(-), S-100(-), SMA(-), Ki67(10%), CD10(+), CD68(+). The diagnosis of atypical fibroxanthoma was made.
