Abstract: Reiter's syndrome is a comprehensive disease characterized by the triad of urethritis, conjunctivitis and reactive arthritis. A 46-year-old male presented with oral vulva and mucosa erosion and conjunctival hyperemia for 1 week, and then he developed swelling and pain of the first metatarsophalangeal joint of the left foot with slight limitation of movement. Dermatological examination showed conjunctival hyperemia in both eyes, erosive exudation of the oral cavity and vulva, swelling of the first metatarsophalangeal joint of the left foot, and obvious tenderness. Joint ultrasound showed hypoecho of the first metatarsophalangeal joint of the left foot, which was considered to be synovial hyperplasia with effusion. The diagnosis of complete Reiter's syndrome was made.
