Microcystic adnexal carcinoma: two cases report and literature review

Abstract: ]Microcystic adnexal carcinoma is a rare low-grade malignant tumor of the skin adnexal. Only more than 200 cases have been reported globally and 41 cases have been reported domestically. The tumor is low-grade malignant and differentiated into sweat glands and squamous cells, making it easy to be misdiagnosed. We report 2 cases of microcystic adnexal carcinoma occurring in the eyebrow arch and upper lip respectively. Based on literature reports, the pathological characteristics and misdiagnosis reasons of the disease were analyzed to further improve pathologists understanding of the tumor.
