Abstract: The development and formation of skin blood vessels are important biological phenomena and the abnormal development of blood vessels is involved in various skin diseases. Therefore, understanding of the developmental and formation mechanisms of skin blood vessels is very critical for the researches and treatments of those skin diseases. The characteristics of dermal vascular structures and distributions and the relationship between the origin and the structural characteristics of skin blood vessels in embryonic stage were reviewed in this paper.
