Abstract:

 The clinicopathological data of 47 patients with Paget's disease were reviewed retrospectively. There were 17 patients with mammary Paget's disease and all were female. The average age at onset was 54.2 years and the average duration of the disease was 19.6 months. There were 30 patients with extramammary Paget's disease (2 females and 28 males). The average age at onset was 68.2 years and the average duration of the disease was 61.96 months. The clinical manifestation in all patients was demarcated erythema with exudation, erosion and crusting. Biopsy showed sporadic or clustered Paget cells in epidermis. IHC staining of CK7, CEA and CKpan was positive. Forty-five patients were misdiagnosed as eczema at their first clinical visit.
