Clinicopathological analysis of 10 cases with lupus erythematosus tumidus

Abstract:

The clinical and pathological features of 10 patients with LET were analyzed retrospectively. All of the 10 patients presented with urticaria-like papules or plaques with a smooth surface spread over the face, neck, chest, back and upper extremities. Six patients were photosensitive. Histopathological examination revealed lymphocytic infiltration around the vessel and mucin deposition between the collagen bundles. Mild changes of epidermis were seen in 7 cases
