Generalized fixed drug eruption: two cases and literatures review

Abstract: A 40-years-old female presented with painful erythema spread over the legs, arms, and vulva mucosa with itching and fever after oral compound aminopyrine phenacetin tablet for 4 hours. The lesions covered at least 30% of the body surface area. The patient had the same history 20 years ago. Another 68-years-old female presented with erythema and blisters spread over the legs and vulva mucosa after oral compound aminopyrine phenacetin tablet for several hours and the lesions covered at least 30% of the body surface area.The diagnosis of generalized fixed drug eruption was made in the two patients and were treated with corticosteroid with good outcome.
