Abstract: Pityriasis rosea is an acute, self-healing exanthem manifesting as oval erythematous-squamous lesions. The cause of disease is unknown and human herpesvirus 6 and 7 have been extensively studied in recent two decades. The related literatures are reviewed in this paper.
