Lichenoid drug eruption:a case report

Abstract: A 69-year-old male presented with keratotic plaques on his palms and soles, as well as papules and macules on his whole body with itching for 40 days. He has taken metoprolol tartrate for 2 years intermittently. The biopsy featrues were accordance with lichenoid drug eruption. Betaloc was discontinued and the patient was treated with oral acitretin 30mg, once a day for one month combined with topical tacrolimus ointment and the lesions subsided.
