Laugier-Hunziker syndrome:a case report

Abstract: A 37-year-old woman presented with a 28-year history of progressive pigmentation of lips and 1-year history of blackish streaks on the nails. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy showed no evidence of polyps. Familial history of pigmentary disorders and digestive polyposis was negative. A diagnosis of Laugier-Hunziker sydrome was made according to the history and clinical presentation. No treatment was given and a wait-and-see strategy was adopted.
