Abstract: Gardner-Diamond syndrome (GDS) is a rare disease characterized by spontaneous painful bruises, which is more common in females and often associated with mental illness. The etiology and mechanism of the disease are not clear, and and mental factors may play a key role. We report a case of GDS with postpartum depression, presented with painful bruises on the limbs, and was accompanied by transient coagulation factor abnormalities. After the treatment for depression for 1 month, ecchymosis and pain symptoms were relieved, and there was no recurrence after 4 years follow-up.
