Abstract: Objective: To investigate the quality of life of leprosy survivors and analyze its influencing factors,so as to provide scientific basis for improving the quality of life of leprosy survivors and formulating public health strategies. Methods: The leprosy survivors in the main urban area of Chongqing and the western region of Chongqing in 2023 were selected as the representatives of urban and rural areas respectively, and the self-made basic situation questionnaire and the Chinese version of World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL-BREF) were used for on-site surveys. SPSS25.0 was applied to conduct statistical analysis on the current situation of the quality of life of leprosy survivors and its influencing factors. Results: In 2023,there were still 200 leprosy survivors in the main city and western area of Chongqing,of which 111 (55.5%) felt their quality of life was good or very good, 126 (63.0%) were satisfied or very satisfied with their health status. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the scores in four areas of quality of life of leprosy survivors in western Chongqing were lower than those in the main city. The higher the level of deformity, the lower the scores of the four fields. Leprosy survivors living with family members had higher scores in the field of social relations than those living alone. The higher the annual income, the higher the scores in physiology, social relations and environment. The more severe the disability, the lower the scores in the areas of physical and social relations. Conclusion: The overall self-evaluation level of the quality of life and health status of leprosy survivors in urban and rural areas of Chongqing is relatively good, but the quality of life of leprosy survivors in rural areas of Chongqing is lower than that in urban areas. The impact of disability on the quality of life is still significant.
