Abstract: A 54-year-old male presented with general erythema, blisters and itching for more than 40 days. Direct immunofluorescence showed the deposition of IgG and C3 on the cell surfaces of keratinocytes. The diagnosis of herpetiform pemphigus was made. He was treated with oral minocycline hydrochloride and compound glycyrrhizin tablets, topical halometasone/triclosan cream and betamethasone urea cream. The blisters subsided after treatment for 7 days and the patient discharged.
