Abstract: Psoriasis is a common chronic recurrent dermatological disease which often associated with cardiovascular diseases. IgE is primarily produced through Th2 immune responses. Recent studies have revealed elevated serum IgE is common in psoriasis patients, while elevated serum IgE is linked to ischemic heart diseases such as myocardial infarction as well. Elevated serum IgE may related to immune drift following biologic treatments in psoriasis patients. Therefore, IgE may play a role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis, cardiovascular comorbidities and immune drift. This review systematically summarizes the correlations and potential mechanisms between IgE and psoriasis, its comorbidities, as well as immune drift following biologic treatments, aiming to provide new insights for IgE-related research in psoriasis patients.
