Eccrine hidrocystoma of Robinson type: a case report

Abstract: A 40-year-old female presented with facial rash for more than 4 years. Dermatologic examination showed pale blue translucent papules (1-3mm in diameter) scatteredly or densely distributed on her periorbit, nasolabial sulcus and upper lip. Biopsy showed enlarged cystic ducts in the dermis and there was some reddish amorphous material in ducts. The diagnosis of eccrine hidrocystoma of Robinson type was made. The patient was treated with superpulse CO2 laser and is under follow-up.
