Localized bullous pemphigoid around the eyes: a case report

Abstract: A 12-years-old girl presented with itching patches and blisters around her eyes for 4 months. Histopathological examination showed subepidermal blisters and lymphocytes, eosnophils and neutrophils infiltration in the superficial dermis. Direct immunofluorescence showed a positive of IgG and C3 along the basal membrane band. The level of anti-BP230 antibody was 2.6 U/mL and anti-BP180 antibody was negative. Diagnosis of localized bullous pemphigoid was made. The treatment of methylprednisolone, mycophenolate mofetil and dapsone was given and the patient is under follow-up.
