HIV infection with localized cutaneous 〖WTHX〗Nocardiosis:〖WTHZ〗 a case report

Abstract: The patient was a 66-year-old woman with a 2-year history of plaque, nodules and thick yellow scab on the tip of nose. The number of skin lesions gradually increased. The patient was positive for HIV antibody. The purulent discharge on the surface of the lesion was cultured and suggested the colony was Nocardia. The genomic DNA of the culture colonies was extracted and the type of Nocardia was identified as Nocardia brasiliensis by the sequencing.
