Update of treatment for erythrodermic psoriasis

Abstract: Erythrodermic psoriasis is a rare and serious psoriasis. It is characterized by a high likelihood of complications, even a high mortality rate due to electrolyte abnormalities, impaired nutritional status, abnormal thermoregulation and potential infections. The treatments for erythrodermic psoriasis include traditional therapies, alternative therapies, and biologics. The update of the treatment of erythrodermic psoriasis is reviewed in this article.
