Two cases of cutaneous Mycobacterium Fortuitum infection and literature review

Abstract: Mycobacterium Fortuitum is an opportunistic pathogen widely existing in the natural environment. It has certain drug resistance, and conventional antibiotic treatment is not effective. Here, we reported 2 cases diagnosed as cutaneous Mycobacterium Fortuitum infection through routine pathology and qPCR. After treatment with rifampicin and clarithromycin for 4 months, the skin lesions subsided significantly. The literature were researched, and  the characteristics of diagnosis and treatment of 466 cases was analyzed.
