Localized lichen myxedematosus: a case report

Abstract: Lichen myxedematosus is rare, we report a case in this paper.  A 53-year-old male presented with edematous papules and nodules on the face and neck and back accompanied by itching for 4 years. Histopathological findings showed that the epidermis was generally normal, the collagen in the dermal papilla and the superficial middle layer was sparse and disordered, and a large amount of myxoid material was deposited.
