Porokeratosis on the hip: a case report

Abstract: A 55-year-old male presented with dark red papule on the hips. Biopsy showed  columnar keratinization in the conical lamellar layer and mild papillomatous hyperplasia in the epidermis. The diagnosis of porokeratosis was made. The patient was treated with acitretin capsules, topical compound halometasone and tretinoin. The lesions improved after treated for 8 weeks.
