Light chain myeloma complicated with immunoglobulin light chain amyloidosis: a case report

Abstract: Multiple myeloma (MM) is the most common hematological malignancy after leukemia, which rarely involves skin. Light chain myeloma is a rare variant of MM, accounting for approximately 15%-20% of all MM cases. We report a case of light-chain myeloma with a generalized rash. The patient was diagnosed by histopathology and immunohistochemistry, and the skin lesions subsided after 2 weeks of chemotherapy.
