Trichomonascus ciferrii infection after ear picking：a case report

Abstract: A 29-year-old female presented with red rashes and scales with itching on the left ear for one month. We scraped skin scales and secretions for fungal microscopic examination, culture identification, mass spectrometry identification, and gene sequencing identification, and confirmed the infection of Trichomonascus ciferrii. Treatment with econazole nitrate solution was effective.
