Abstract: An 11-year-old male patient with a 10-year history of anterior chest cutaneous mass. The primary lesion was initially accompanied by a pinhole sinus opening on the skin. After laser therapy at an outside hospital, pus discharge occurred and a purplish-red nodule developed, which was initially misdiagnosed as an epidermal cyst. Dermatological examination revealed an oval, smooth, soft purplish-red nodule on the anterior chest. A round, soft cyst was palpable beneath the nodule, and the position of the cyst shifted with body posture. Ultrasonography demonstrated a well-circumscribed cystic echo measuring 2.7 cm × 2.3 cm × 0.9 cm within the anterior chest adipose layer, communicating with the epidermis via a sinus tract with slight peripheral blood flow signals around the cyst wall. Complete surgical excision was performed. Postoperative pathological examination identified cutaneous bronchogenic cyst.
