Abstract:

A 23-year-old girl presented with generalized light brown macules for 4 years. Dermographism was positive and Darier sign was absent. Histopathologic examination showed the mast cells with round and fusiform shape which was found in the perivascular of the papillary body and upper dermis. These inflammatory cells were stained positively with toluidine blue. The diagnosis was urticaria pigmentosa.
