Abstract: Objective: To detect the expression of Notch cell signaling pathway related ligands psoriasis-like mice model induced by imiquimod. Methods: 6-8-week-old BALB/c female mice were randomly divided into the control group and imiquimod (IMQ) group. The pathological changes of skin lesions were observed under light microscope. The mRNA and proteins of Notch1, Notch2, Jagged and Hes-1 were detected by RT-PCR and immunohistochemical method. Results: Mice induced by topical IMQ showed typical psoriasis-like lesions. Compared with the mice in the control group, the mRNA and proteins of Notch1, Notch2, Jagged-1 and Hes-1 were significantly higher than those in the IMQ group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Notch cell signaling pathway was activated in psoriasis-like mice model induced by imiquimod.
