Clinicopathologic analysis of 25 patients with Spitz nevus

Abstract: The clinicopathologic data of 25 patients with Spitz nevus diagnosed from 2011 to 2017 in oue hospital was analyzed retrospectively. Of 25 patients (11 males and 14 females), 16 (64%) was under 10 years old. The lesion was on the face in 12 patients, on the low limbs in 5, on the up limbs in 4, on the trunk in 3, on the scalp in one. The most lesions were elevated or hemispherical with pigmentation. Histopathological?examination showed that 84% of the lesions were benign tumor and 16% were asymmetric or poorly circumscribed.
