Application of the picosecond laser for the pigmentary disorders

Abstract: Compared with Q-switched lasers, picosecond lasers has shorter pulse(10-12s) and higher energy, which causes less damage to the adjacent tissues and is more effective. However, picosecond lasers have been used in China just for a few years. The application of picosecond lasers in the skin pigmentary diseases is reviewed.
