Abstract: Pirfenidone is a new broad-spectrum anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrosis drug, which has a very good effect on idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. But it also has more adverse reactions, such as photosensitivity. We report a case of pulmonary fibrosis with severe phototoxicity after 4 weeks of pirfenidone treatment in this paper. The skin lesions gradually subside after pirfenidone was discontinued and glucocorticoid was given.
