Abstract: Granular parakeratosis (GP) is rare and easy to be misdiagnosed. We report 4 cases of granular GP caused by clothing disinfectant. The skin lesions of 3 patients subsided after stopping contact with disinfectants and systemic use of emollients, and 1 patient improved significantly after oral glucocorticoids. Dermatologists should strengthen the awareness of diagnosis and treatment of GP with symmetrically erythema with repeated desquamation, take a complete history of exposure to disinfectants, instruct patients to promptly stop using the disinfectants and consider short-term systemic use of glucocorticoids according to the condition.
