Abstract: Epithelioid angiomatous nodule (EAN) represents a rare benign reactive proliferative lesion derived from epithelioid vascular endothelium. The majority of cases documented in prior literatures present as solitary lesions or localized lesions confined to a single anatomical region, whereas symmetric multifocal lesions are relatively scarce. We herein report one case of this disorder. A 48-year-old female patient presented with multiple nontender, non-pruritic subcutaneous nodules on both palms for six months. Histopathological examination revealed two well-defined tumor masses in the dermis and subcutaneous fat. The masses were primarily composed of epithelioid cells, with intracellular lumina, vascular spaces, pseudo-fissure, and infiltration of eosinophils in the stroma. Immunohistochemically, the tumor cells were positive for CD31, while some luminal structures expressed CD34 and D2-40. The Ki67 proliferation index was approximately 20%. The patient was diagnosed with symmetric multiple epithelioid angiomatous nodules on the basis of clinical manifestations, pathological findings and immunohistochemical results. The lesions were excised surgically, and the patient is currently under regular follow-up.
