Abstract: Approximately 75% of female patients with psoriasis are of child-bearing age. Pre-pregnancy, pregnancy and lactation are special physiological periods. Psoriasis management for this population should balance disease control with maternal-infant safety and formulate individualized therapeutic strategies. However, high-quality clinical evidence targeting this group remains limited, posing considerable challenges for clinical decision-making. Existing studies suggest that topical therapy and phototherapy are still the first-line options for psoriasis in this period. Among systemic therapeutic agents, some biologics demonstrate better efficacy and safety benefits compared with conventional systemic drugs. This paper reviews relevant domestic and foreign literature published in the past five years, and summarizes the efficacy and safety of various interventions including topical therapy, phototherapy, conventional systemic agents, biologics and small-molecule targeted agents when used during pregnancy and lactation, so as to provide reference for the standardized and safe clinical treatment of psoriasis in women of child-bearing age.
