Abstract: Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin disease primarily characterized by episodic facial flushing, persistent erythema, papule and pustule formation, telangiectasia, and nasal hypertrophy. Clinically, traditional treatments for refractory rosacea-such as oral antibiotics and topical medications-often yield limited efficacy and are associated with a high tendency for recurrence. In this paper, we report a case of refractory rosacea treated with tofacitinib and review the relevant literature.
