Abstract: Objective: To investigate the therapeutic effect, adverse reactions and influencing factors of recurrence in the patients with Keloids. Methods: The clinical data of patients with keloids were collected in the department of dermatology in Changde First People`s Hospital from January to December 2017. The influencing factors of recurrence were analyzed by chi-square test and logistic regression. Results: ① 209 patients with keloids were involved in the study. The sex ratio of men and women was 1.90:1, the median age was 36 years old, the lesions were mainly on the anterior chest (31.58%), the back (19.62%), the abdomen and buttocks (16.75%). The mild and moderate keloids accounted for 72.73% and the severe keloids accounted for 27.27%. ② Of 209 patients, 132 (63.16%) were treated with surgery combined with radiotherapy, 42 (20.1%) were treated with surgery and 35 (16.75%) were treated with non-surgical?treatment, including glucocorticoids, antineoplastic drugs, botulinum toxin type A, etc. The total effective rate was 68.9% and the recurrence rate was 21.5%. Of the patients treated with surgery combined with radiotherapy, 13.6% patients had acute adverse reactions and 8.3% patients had advanced side effects. ③ The severity of keloids(β=3.602,P<0.001,OR=36.67)and the history of wound infection (β=4.566,P<0.001,OR=96.159) were the independent factors affecting the recurrence of keloids. Conclusion: There are some recurrence rates and adverse reactions of surgery combined with radiation for the therapy of keloids. The severity of keloid and the history of wound infection were the factors affecting the recurrence.
