Abstract: The lesions of keloid often exceed the original wound boundaries, showing aggressive growth, tumor-like hyperplasia, accompanied by itching and pain. It's difficult to cure and often recur after simple surgical resection. Although studies on its mechanism involve polygenes, cells, molecules and pathways, no breakthrough has been made. The pathogenesis of keloid is reviewed in this paper in order to provide more ideas for scientific research and clinical treatment.
