Abstract: Psoriasis is an immune-mediated chronic, recurrent, inflammatory and systemic disease induced by a combination of genetics and environment. Its pathogenesis is related to many factors, such as heredity, immunity, environment, infection, metabolism, drugs, mental trauma and so on. The traditional comorbidities associated with psoriasis mainly include cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, obesity, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia and inflammatory bowel disease, etc. More and more studies have found that some other diseases are closely associated with psoriasis. The pathogenesis and manifestations of psoriasis and renal diseases are reviewed in this article.
