Successful treatment of pediatric psoriasis with IL-17A inhibitor monotherapy: a case report

Abstract: A four-year-old boy presented with erythematous plaques and scales for one year and exacerbated for two months. His mother had a history of psoriasis. Dermatological examination showed erythematous lesions with silvery scaling on his head, face, trunk, and limbs. The diagnosis of plaque psoriasis was made. Secukinumab 150 mg were administrated with a one-week interval, resulting in completely cleared skin after four times treatment. This child is the youngest patient with plaque psoriasis treated with secukinumab and needs further attention.
