Psoriasis vulgaris with nail change treated with secukinumab: a case report

Abstract: A 38-year-old male presented with erythema with scales on scalp and armpit, fingernails and toenails thickening and discoloration for more than 1 year. Physical examination showed erythema with small scales on scalp and armpit, onycholysis, distal subungual hyperkeratosis, discoloration and pitting on part of nails. Diagnosis of psoriasis vulgaris and nail psoriasis were made and the patient was treated with secukinumab. Lesions disappeared rapidly and obvious improvement was seen in nails changes. No obvious adverse effect and no relapse of skin lesions were seen in 1-year follow-up.
