Abstract: Objective: To summary  the epidemiological characteristics and trends of gonorrhea in Yantai City, to provide scientific evidence for the prevention and treatment of gonorrhea. Methods: Epidemiological statistical data of gonorrhea in Yantai City from 2005 to 2017 were collected and analyzed. Results: The incidences of gonorrhea in Yantaireduced r from 8.69/100,000 in 2005 to 3.78/100,000 in 2017. The sex ratio of gonorrhea was 10.20∶1. Most patients were reported in Zhifu District, Laizhou City and Laiyang. The peak age of onset was from 20 to 39 years old. Conclusion: The incidence of gonorrhea in Yantai City is declining but it is necessary to strengthen intervention and publicity in some areas.
