Abstract: Objective: To analyze the difference in HPV genotype between male and female. Methods:The data of 8876 patients (5717 males and 3159 females) with Condyloma acuminatum (CA) diagnosed from September 2010 to September 2019 was analyzed retrospectively. Results: Of 8876 patients, the age was from 20 to 29 years old in majority of the patients. The rates of multiple infection were 47.07% in females and 36.85% in males, with a significant difference (χ2=88.144, P<0.0001). The rate of high-risk type infection was 46.35% in females and 34.60% in males, with a  significant difference (χ2=120.069, P<0.0001). Conclusion: The HPV genotype was different between males and females. The infection rates of multiple infection and high-risk type in females were higher than in males.
